gutleut 15 Gutleutstr. 15, 60329 Frankfurt, 069-87 87 86 58 After 12 years of activity the space has closed, forced through the sale of the building where it was located. One of the oldest offspaces in town has quit. The programm will be continued as a publishing company (Gutleut Verlag). Time of operation: April 1997 till April 2009

 

Wildwechsel Rotlintstr. 98, 60389 Frankfurt, 069 - 469 396 69 Wildwechsel is no more an off space. Jürgen Wolfstädter has settled with a gallery of the same name in Frankfurt Fahrgasse 15. The space Rotlintstr. 98 is closed since 1.1. 2009. Time of operation: January 2004 till January 2009

 

Fahrradhalle Luisenstr. 51, 63067 Offenbach, 069-82377649 Closed in August 2007 due to lack of funding and lack of interest. Most of the artists which had been involved in the project turned elsewhere, pursueing solo careers, or switching into advertising. Time of operation: April 1995 till August 2007

 

Atelierhaus/Lola Montez Team Am Städelshof 6, 60311 Frankfurt, No more party time, no more art in between. After a short interim at Riz, Pik Dame in Elbestr. 29, there's now Kunstverein Familie Montez since Sept. 2007. Enjoy! Time of operation: December 2000 till March 2007

 

rraum Kiesstr.37, 60486 Frankfurt, 69 - 70 62 06 It's not really dead, but moved to Hamburg with its owners. See website for current information. Time of operation: January 1998 till June 2006

 

Oskar von Miller Str. 16 Oskar v. Miller Str. 16, 60314 Frankfurt, 069-90 43 46 69 Building was sold to investors for new boring real estate projects. Artists have to go. Time of operation: May 2000 till June 2005

 

Pavillon unterhalb der Flösserbrücke, 60314 Frankfurt, 069 It simply stopped. Don't know the details. Dirk Paschke has moved to Berlin without a trace. Time of operation: June 2003 till June 2005

 

don't miss var. locations. Check website, , 0174-3 597 840 As told on the website this project is online only. I don't know when it stopped. I was never really interested in the work of Saul Judd. His work was too much main stream curation, despite the fancy locations he found for his shows. Time of operation: February 1996 till January 2005

 

OFK, Jürgen Georg Wolfstädter Wilhelmstr. 7, 63065 Offenbach, 069 - 88 57 66 Wolfstädter has transfered his activity (and even familiy) to Frankfurt finally. Said Offenbach was dead, no extension possible. Hopes to attract more people with smaller space. Time of operation: January 1998 till June 2004

 

Ausstellungsraum Konstantin Adamopoulos Schulstr. 48, 60594 Frankfurt, 069-62 22 74 Konstantin has moved to Cologne to serve his family duties. The space will be used as an artist's studio. Time of operation: January 1993 till February 2004

 

Fruchtig A-Hoy Schaumainkai 90, 60596 Frankfurt, 069 A very short intermezzo. Annette was thrown out by the owners, this Kanu Verein, be cause they probably disliked her concept of bringing artists and concerts into the venue. Very sad. Time of operation: August 2003 till January 2004

 

trudi.sozial II Allerheiligenstr. 7, 60313 Frankfurt, 069 Given back to the owners of the place, Standort Ausstellungshalle. 12 evenings of sometimes fierce discussions; beyond the expectations of the regular evenings enertainments. Time of operation: May 2003 till July 2003

 

trudi.sozial Oppenheimer Str.34a, 60594 Ffm, 0174-1412151 Closed after five weeks of operation due to "dirty sex books" in the shopwindow. multi.trudi again has to find another home. Time of operation: February 2003 till March 2003

 

Ausstellungsraum de Ligt Oppenheimerstr. 34a, 60594 Frankfurt, 069-579 39 18 The owner seems to have followed the 'normal' carreer path, from off-space into an institution. First Nürnberger Kunstverein. Now Kunsthalle Mainz. Time of operation: April 1999 till January 2003

 

Ausstellungsraum op31 Oppenheimerstr. 31, 60594 Frankfurt, I never really understood what happend there, have been to one or two openings, = normal art? Time of operation: December 2000 till December 2002

auswärts Kunstraum e.V. Inheidenerstr. 2, 60385 Frankfurt, 069-46 00 68 67 I never understood this space. Why bother with exhibitions like any gallery else? The former managers have settled with positions in the art system. Time of operation: April 1999 till November 2002

 

rraum2, Meike Behm Darmstädter Landstr. 10, 6059 Frankfurt, 069-72 62 06 This place was temporary from the beginning. My suspicion: it was a kind of lever to get recognized by Manifesta 4 in 2002. Nevertheless the space was not too bad. Time of operation: May 2001 till August 2002

 

Bob5 Rhönstr. 119, 60385 Frankfurt, 0171-2109 176 The unhappy facts: this space is no more. It only operated in 2001 by people from different backgrounds in music, performance and theater. Time of operation: February 2001 till November 2001
