Artspaces 2003
Lobo,Texas, a remote outpost of the Frankfurt art scene.
Lobo, TexasAnnette Gloser from Galerie Fruchtig has bought a deserted town in the western corner of Texas, 15 miles from the Mexican border. After reconstruction and rennovation she hopes to turn it into an art center. A first festival was held in May 2003. People interested in participation can support the project by becoming shareholders. Shares start from 200$ each.
Pavillon am Main
Artspace open for bypassers A new space by Dirk Paschke (Muttertag, Gartners, Hafenbar) has opened in June: Pavillon The structure was left over from Manifesta 4 (2002). Located on the shore of the river Main, below the Flösserbrücke.
